My usual late-as-ever reply to say thank you to all for the birthday well wishes back in late March.  As you can tell I only hop on DA now and then to check/reply to things and upload some art, so even though I didn't get a chance to reply I did see them all and they were very well recived.

I should update this every now and again but I never know what to say.

Trying to remember to submit art every now and again.  Usually finished stuff that's worthwhile at least.

Still working at the zoo as I have done the past...wow...almost 7 years now!  Still love the people and the animals and I'm super happy with where I've found myself in work.

Art is still a fun hobby for me, and I'm going off to Overload in Auckland in September to sell at a booth there if anyone's going and keen to say hello.

I am also going to be going to Wellington Armageddon/ New Zealand comic con this weekend.  Will be wearing Emmy (Professor Layton) on Friday.  Dipper (Gravity Falls) on Saturday with my GF group, and Cullen (Dragon Age: Inquisition) on Sunday.  Dragon Age group is also in the contest so come watch our skit on the main stage in the afternoon (hopefully people will find it funny!)

In a few days time I will be on Holiday in Hong Kong for 3 weeks visiting my family and friends.

So since I have to close my storenvy shop while away, I figured why not offer out a quick sale:

This is only running for 3-4 days, as I will need to close up shop and then post all the items off before I go.

Store closed, now is the time for holiday!

Hi everyone.  I rarely update this journal or my DA much (as you can tell) but I wanted to first say a big thank you for all the birthday wishes (which was, gosh, over 2 months ago now!)

As an update for up-coming events, I will be attending Wellington Armageddon this weekend (as par usual).  On Monday only one of my friends has very kindly asked if I wanted to have some art for sale at the Drawfest store, so I've given him a few little things to take (he will be selling on my behalf, so I won't be a the stall).  There's a good 20-odd Artist Trading Cards I made (all can be seen on my Tumblr, but I will upload the Adventure Time ones soon).  There will also be postcards, some keychains and stickers (including the 'Stick of Truth', 'Zero Escape' and 'Zelda Girl' ones I have on my storenvy.  My storenvy will be closed as of today until after the convention weekend, so I can re-stock the shop as I see fit then.

At the con itself, I will be wearing per day:

Saturday: April O'Niel (2012 TMNT version) - I will also be hosting the parade at 3:30pm on the main stage with my lovely co-host Jess too.

Sunday - Xion (Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days)

Monday - Sigrun (Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening).
